Rebel XSi/KissX2 with the kit lens

XSi/KissX2で撮った写真。まずはキットレンズ。
今回初めてキットレンズを買った。あまり使わなさそうな気がしたが、セットで買うと
1万円くらいとお得だったので。

写りはさておき、明るくないレンズなのでけっこう明るい屋内でもちょっと厳しい。

次の２枚は簡単撮影モードの「発光禁止」で撮影、JPEG撮って出し、リサイズのみ。

「ポートレート」モードは肌のトーン重視のためか積極的にフラッシュを使うようだ。
ISO400で十分なシャッター速度が設定できる場面でもフラッシュがオンになる。

次はこのカメラ用に買った「EF35mm F2」で撮影したもの。
以下すべてAvモードで撮影。ピクチャースタイルを「ポートレート」に設定。
JPEG撮って出し、リサイズのみ。

レストランにて。本当は簡単撮影モードの「ポートレート」を使いたかったが、
このくらいの明るさでもフラッシュがポップアップしてしまうのでAvモードで撮影。

ALO?

先週末に撮った写真の中で構図と露出が同じなのに明るさが違う２枚があって何でかなぁと思っ
ていたら、この記事によると「オートライティングオプティマイザ」という機能の仕業らしい。

これ、名前だけは聞いたことがあって、撮影時に露出補正するものだとばかり思っていたら実は
撮影後に被写体が明るくなるように画像を補正する機能のようだ。
被写体の判断に顔認識をしているそうで、つまり下の１枚目は顔認識されなくて、２枚目は認識
されて被写体が明るくなるように補正されたということのようだ。

上の記事によるとフラッシュ使用時も補正されるということだし、下の例を見てもなかなか効果的
で便利な機能だと思う。

とは言っても、自分はこのカメラもRAWで撮影することにしたので使用する機会はあまりなさそう。

RAW撮影時にこの機能が働かないのは当然として、RAW+JPEGの時も使えないのはちょっと
残念。
